# PowerLink Ghana 2050 Dashboard
## Overview
PowerLink Ghana 2050 is a strategic energy planning concept developed by **TechnoSaints: Nexus** for the Siemens Energy **Girls With Energy Challenge**.
The project explores how renewable energy, energy storage, smart monitoring, and community-centered planning can improve quality of life in underserved regions of Ghana while supporting long-term economic development and sustainability.
This dashboard serves as a visual decision-support tool that tracks key performance indicators, project readiness, and community impact measures.
## Project Vision
Reliable energy is more than electricity.
It enables improved healthcare delivery, expanded educational opportunities, reliable water access, economic growth, entrepreneurship, and greater community resilience.
## KPI Framework
The dashboard is organized around six primary KPI categories:
1. **Energy Reliability**
Measures system uptime, outage hours avoided, battery autonomy, and critical loads served.
2. **Community Impact**
Measures households served, healthcare support, education support, and water access improvements.
3. **Safety & Resilience**
Measures fault events, inspection completion, protection system status, and resilience under real operating conditions.
4. **Cost & Financial Viability**
Measures capital cost, operating cost, cost per kilowatt-hour, and cost per beneficiary.
5. **Environmental and SDG Impact**
Measures carbon emissions avoided, renewable energy utilization, fuel displacement, and SDG alignment.
6. **Implementation Readiness**
Measures site readiness, stakeholder engagement, training completion, and maintenance planning.
