Built entirely in Rive with a probabilistic state machine driven by Luau scripting. --- ## What it does The simulator models a wildlife reserve under stress. **Ella** and **Dumbo** — two African elephants with full animation rigs — and a **breeding colony of 20 African Penguins** (*Spheniscus demersus*, IUCN Endangered) react in real-time to four conservation threats you control. Hit a threat button. Watch the stress cascade through the ecosystem: - Loud noise → penguins scatter, elephants trumpet - Pollution → colony safety plummets, habitat health degrades - Habitat loss → instant CRISIS tier, elephants charge - Quiet Zone → cooldown clears, ecosystem begins recovering Every event plays out as a probabilistic state transition, not scripted animation.
