The Geodetic datum used is WGS84. These are useful for preparing talks and publications where the SKA radio telescope needs to be put in a geographic context. Data are taken from SKA report SKA-TEL-INSA-0000537 dated 13/03/2015. ## Visualizing in a browser Github will visualize GEOJSON files, so simply click on the link below ## Visualizing in Google Earth In google earth (desktop) choose File->Import and select 'all files'. Then choose the ska1_mid.kml, or ska1_mid.geojson file to import. You should see something like the image below: ## Plotting using Cartopy The file plot_locations.py shows how to plot a figure showing the array layout.
