It explores how digital financial services have evolved, their impact on inclusion and the economy, and future projections for the sector. 🎯 Objectives Examine growth patterns in transaction value, volume, and active accounts. Evaluate adoption trends across regions and user segments. Forecast future growth using historical data. Highlight the role of mobile money in promoting financial inclusion and digital transformation. 🧮 Tools Used Microsoft Excel – Data cleaning, trend analysis, forecasting, visualization Power BI – Interactive dashboards and data storytelling Python – Predictive modeling and growth trend projection Google Sheets / Google Site – Publishing analysis and insights 📈 Key Findings Mobile money transaction value and volume doubled between 2019 and 2024. Active users continued to grow steadily, driven by rural expansion and improved network coverage. Transaction peaks occur in Q4 annually — linked to business cycles and festive spending. By 2025, mobile money is projected to surpass KES 10 trillion in transaction value. Forecasts to 2030 show continued but slower growth as the market matures. 💡 Recommendations Strengthen digital infrastructure and agent networks. Expand access in rural areas to close inclusion gaps. Encourage interoperability among mobile platforms and banks. Promote innovation in savings, lending, and insurance products.
