# Nairobi Urban Inequality and Service Gap Analysis
## Project Overview
This project analyzes urban service inequality in Nairobi, Kenya using GIS. The analysis maps the distribution of schools, health facilities, roads, and mapped water points across Nairobi wards. It also identifies ward-level service gaps and classifies priority areas for possible urban service intervention.
The project was developed as a professional GIS portfolio project with an NGO-style decision-support focus. It demonstrates how spatial data can support urban planning, service delivery assessment, resource allocation, and humanitarian information management.

- Map the spatial distribution of key urban services in Nairobi.
- Calculate ward-level service availability using mapped service counts.
- Identify wards with possible service gaps.
- Classify wards into priority levels for urban service intervention.
- Produce professional map outputs for reporting and portfolio presentation.

## Study Area
The study area is Nairobi, Kenya. Nairobi was analyzed at ward level to show differences in mapped service availability across local administrative areas.
