This is the repository for the DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A NATIONAL ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION AND MONITORING SYSTEM FOR CAMEROON prepared and worked on by group 10 members of the Software and Design engineering students. This project is more like an update to the existing system in Cameroon with some advancements like AI API Integration. # Welcome to Group 10 Electricity Monitoring and Distrubution System in Cameroon with AI API Integrations. ## Deployment (TypeScript) Follow these steps to build and deploy the application. 1. Prerequisites - Node.js (v18.0.0 or higher) - npm or yarn 2. Installation - Clone the repository: ```on bash in your windows, cd git clone ``` 3. Install dependencies (including TypeScript compiler): ```on bash in your windows, npm install ``` 4. Building the Project Compile the TypeScript code into production-ready JavaScript: ```on bash in your windows, npm run build ``` *Note: This generates a compiled folder (usually `/dist`) containing the JavaScript files.* 5. Running the Application * **Development Mode** (with hot-reloading via ts-node): ```on bash in your windows, npm run dev ``` ## **Production Mode** (runs the compiled JavaScript): ```on bash in your windows, npm start ```
