Global Examinations of African Health Predilections

The primary objective of this book is to illustrate and perhaps elucidate a continuum of research findings that highlight a broad spectrum of disease conditions, peculiar, prevalent, and recurring in persons domiciled, or emigrated, from SSA and NSSA. The editor aspires to articulate the correlation between, and the specificity of disorders amongst indigenous and diasporan Africans. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of datasets generated from experimentation and extant and emerging literature outlined in each book chapter shall constitute valid indicators and provide guidance to first-line diagnosis for first responders and the healthcare community. Furthermore, an examination of social determinants of health, symptomatology at disease onset, mechanism of action, clinical research programs exploring the safety, efficacy, and pharmacovigilance of drug products and substrates used in disease prevention, mitigation and progression; emergency response preparedness initiatives, and the cost implications of beneficent patientcare will be discussed in detail.
