Growing up in Jagaba Growing_up_in_Jagaba Cifungwa Folktales

Anita interviewed Awal about growing up in Jagaba in the presence of his family and friends. This project focuses on the documentation of Cifungwa folktales. In this session, Awal talked about his childhood and adulthood in Jagaba, a Cifungwa village. Anita interviewed Awal while other actors observed and monitored the recording. He is farmer and a graduate of Government Secondary School, Pandogari. He is farmer and he lives with his parents. He is the son of Aisha Ibrahim, a potter. Anita, a student at the Department of Linguistics, University of Ibadan, was born in Ibadan to Igbo parents. She has lived most of life in Ibadan. A post-graduate student of University of Ibadan An undergraduate student of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria.
