This is a modified version of a folk tale about an animal that supposedly takes your eyes out if you fall alseep in the forest. Originally it is a tale about two brothers that are out hunting where one brother wants to stay and rest and the other wants to go home with their prey. The story ends with the one brother having his eyes taken out and being eaten and the other brother goes looking for his lost brother while their mother admonishes the remaining brother for not staying with his kin.
