This dataset contains emotion-labeled text data in multiple African languages for emotion classification (joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, disgust, neutral). Emotions were inferred from the original content using a multilingual processing pipeline and balanced per language to support fairer modeling. The dataset is part of a growing collection of African language emotion analysis resources.
