The shared dataset focuses on climate zones in Algeria as classified by the Köppen-Geiger system, using historical climate data from 1960 to 2021 sourced from the WorldClim database. The initial dataset includes high-resolution information on minimum and maximum temperatures and precipitation levels at a spatial resolution of 2.5 minutes (approximately 21 km).
The initial figure, titled "TMY_climate_data_Algeria_by_Halimi," illustrates the TMY analysis, depicting monthly patterns of precipitation and temperature in high-resolution raster format. Panels (A-L) represent temperature, while panels (M-X) illustrate precipitation, both derived from high-resolution GeoTIFF data. This figure consolidates comprehensive information and intricate calculations. It is important to note that the figure is not presented in TIFF format due to the considerable file size, which resulted in repeated failures when attempting to upload each file individually.
The resulting map in the second Figure titled "Algeria_Cliamte_Map_Halimi" based on data from first Figure aims to enhance understanding of climatic variations across the country, support climate change research, and inform policy decisions related to environmental management. Ultimately, it seeks to provide valuable insights for stakeholders and contribute to effective climate adaptation strategies. The obtained results are updated and show accurate and real climate zones in all regions compared to all the available dataset in the literature.
