This comparative study examines the relationship between housing conditions, socio-economic status, and residents' overall quality of life across three diverse income communities in Lagos State, Nigeria: Makoko, Yaba, and Victoria Island. Utilizing a cross-sectional survey design with 150 purposively sampled respondents, the research leverages linear regression and ANOVA models to demonstrate how socio-economic positioning strongly dictates housing security and well-being.  The findings highlight sharp structural variations among these communities, offering critical contextual frameworks for social workers, urban planners, and policy advocates aiming to implement targeted community interventions and equitable housing policies in developing urban centers.
