This book explores Islamic University in Uganda’s successful deployment of ICT equipment acquired under LOT 1 of the IsDB Phase II Project. The book elucidates the implementation processes and strategy undertaken by the ICT Department to acquire and successfully deploy ICT equipment such as Computer Servers, Wi-Fi or Network Access Points, Audio and Video Conferencing tools for eLearning, Multimedia Studio devices and Intercom telephony system for intercommunication. The author relates the project’s success to strategy employed, dedication of ICT staff and the University’s Management support. The book concludes with a recommendation for the completion of pending works and how process standards, guidelines and quality of services shall be made to ensure the University’s effective utilization of its ICT resources.
