Indigenous Language Learning in Higher Education in Ghana: Exploring Students’ Behavioural Intentions Using an Extended Theory of Planned Behaviour

This quantitative data describes a Ghanaian university students' behavioural intentions towards the study of Ghana's indigenous languages in higher education. The data is based on the theory of planned behaviour which is composed of students attitudes towards the local languages in higher education, subjective norms regarding the study of indigenous languages, language learning efficacy, students' sense of linguistic insecurity, and their language learning intentions
