The study examined the instructional supervision strategies as a correlate of Pupils achievement in primary schools, Lagos State. Survey research design which aimed at collecting data on and describing in a systematic manner, the characteristics, features or facts about a given population was used in this study. Primary school teachers and pupils in Lagos state formed the population while purposive sampling technique was used to select 200 respondents comprising 100 in-service teacher and 100 pupils from 5 Public primary schools in Alimosho Local Government area. A four-point likert scale self-constructed instrument titled "Instructional Supervision Strategies as correlates of Pupils Academic Achievement in Primary School Questionnaire" (ISSCPAAPSQ) and pupil's cumulative score were used as data collection. A Cronbach alpha value of 0.86 was obtained. The data collected were analyzed and tested using Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis at 0.05 significant level. The study revealed that there is a significant relationship between Instructional Supervision, regular conduct of instructional supervision, recommendations on strategies to improve Supervision of the Teaching-Learning process and Performance of pupils in primary Schools. It concluded that due to the numerous challenges currently facing the educational system, Professional approach by experts in the educational field should resort to the use of Instructional Supervision Strategies to improve and sustain the educational industry in Lagos State. Among others the study recommended that regular evaluation of instructional process, school administration procedure and educational outcomes by supervisors so designated from within and outside the educational institution should be intensified so that conformists can be appreciated and improved upon while non conformists can be identified, sanctioned and corrected appropriately and timely.
