Integration of community-based interventions from vertical health programs across the RMNCH continuum in low- and middle-income countries: a scoping review of models, success conditions, and barriers

This scoping review aims to map integration models of community-based interventions from vertical health programs across the RMNCH (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health) continuum in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). It identifies success conditions, barriers, and reported effects on health systems and populations. Conducted following the Arksey & O'Malley framework, revised by Levac et al., and reported using PRISMA-ScR guidelines, this review constitutes Axis 1 of a PhD thesis in community health at the Alioune Diop University of Bambey (UADB), Senegal, funded by the West African Health Organisation (WAHO/OOAS).
