Interview Guidelines Guide d’entretien Mwongozo wa Mahojiano

Interview guide used in Tanzania for my doctoral thesis (theses.fr), here in French, Kiswahili and English (English translation from Kiswahili by Hassan Said). I conducted the first interviews in 2018 with a rough guide. I developed it further before the 2019 interviews, and worked on the Swahili version with Esther Mssika and Mohamed Mazige. Some of the themes did not yield interesting results and are therefore not dealt with in the thesis: the role of storytelling in family upbringing and the inculcation of gender norms; women’s community and political activities, and how they are linked with their educational experiences. J’ai mené les premiers entretiens, en 2018, avec un guide sommaire. Je l’ai développé davantage avant les entretiens de 2019, et en ai travaillé la version swahili avec Esther Mssika et Mohamed Mazige. Certaines des thématiques n’ont pas donné de résultats intéressants et ne sont donc pas traitées dans la thèse : rôle des contes dans l’éducation familiale et l’inculcation de normes de genre ; investissement dans la vie associative et politique, dont j’aurais aimé mesurer les liens avec le parcours éducatif, etc.
