Intra-African Domain Shift in Wildlife Camera Trap AI]% {Intra-African Geographic Domain Shift in Wildlife Camera Trap Species Classification: A Comparative Study of Supervised and Zero-Shot Foundation Models

This repository contains all scripts, model checkpoints, predictions, and figures used to produce the results in the paper. The study trains and evaluates three model architectures (BEiTV2, DINOv2+FAISS, BioCLIP) on Snapshot Serengeti and evaluates geographic domain shift on three African test sets: Snapshot Kgalagadi, Snapshot Kruger, and a novel locally-collected Botswana wildlife photography dataset.

Eight experiments are reproduced here, structured as one folder per experiment.
