The OBSYDYA project (Observatoire Pilote des Paysages et des Dynamiques Agricoles) aims to establish a pilot observatory of farming systems and landscapes in the form of a service platform dedicated to the consolidation of spatially referenced information, the production of indicators, and the mapping of agricultural and landscape dynamics in Central and Northern Benin. The platform is intended to support national stakeholders involved in rural development. As a major activity, OBSYDYA proposes the development of a geospatial database of agricultural land use / land cover maps. This collection contains the reference data series for land cover mapping using remote sensing imagery and machine learning, generated in the framework of the OBSYDYA project.
