Land-water-food contamination nexus in African cities

This scoping review aims to identify the types of metal, microbial and micro plastics contaminants in food crops grown in urban and peri-urban environments in Africa, describe the levels of contamination found in these food crops, and identify contamination sources and pathways related to land and water uses.
