Women’s involvement in leadership positions is controversial, especially in some African religious organisations. Some Christians confined women’s activities to mere listening and obeying instructions rather than allowing them to provide leadership inputs. On the other hand, some give them ample opportunity to lead. Thus, this study examines the influence of women’s leadership on children’s spiritual formation. The paper established the rationales for spiritual formation of children from various views and posits that women’s roles in the spiritual formation of children cannot be underestimated. The research adopts a descriptive design; relevant information was gathered through secondary sources, and findings were reported qualitatively. The findings revealed that women have many ways of influencing children to build them up spiritually. Therefore, Christians and churches in Africa should provide a leadership template for women to influence children and nurture them spiritually.
