The storage capacity of the more and more new information technologies is presented as a solution for the preservation and the memorization of the world cultural, artistic, scientific heritage. Hovewer numerous people express a fear in front of these outside memories. Facing risks of disorder of the human memory, we suggest analyzing from the example of the countries of French-speaking Africa in the south of Sahara, the impact on
archives and the part of the archivists to order this human memory with its new dimensions and protect the archival materials for the research.
