
The digital economy is increasingly recognized as a driver of growth, innovation, and resilience. In East Africa, countries like Kenya and Rwanda have leveraged digital platforms to enhance public service delivery, promote financial inclusion, and attract foreign investment. Somalia, with its youthful population, growing mobile penetration, and strategic location, has the potential to follow a similar trajectory. However, it must overcome significant barriers, including limited infrastructure, regulatory fragmentation, and low digital literacy.
