Lexicography in Non‐European Languages

Abstract Lexicography in non‐European languages presents interesting challenges, some of which are illustrated in this overview of dictionary compilation for the Bantu languages, mainly from a South African perspective but equally applicable to Bantu lexicography on the continent of Africa as a whole.
