Kung is a Central Ring speech variety spoken in Lower Fungom (Good et al 2011) in Fungom Subdivision in Menchum Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. The langauge is tonal and has nominal prefixes. In the wordlist, We observed individual lexical variation among the two consultants from whom the data was collected. The variation could be accounted for by the differences noticed in the sociolinguistic profile of both consultants.
