This study seeks to examine mass communication undergraduate students at university of Delta, Agbor, Delta State, use of multimedia tools. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. A census sampling technique was adopted to arrive at a sample of 342 respondents from each of the levels, represented in the study given a total of 422 as the population of mass communication undergraduate students at university of Delta, Agbor. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire. The findings indicated that majority of the respondents are aware of multimedia tools, whereas, Video has the highest mean, the findings further revealed that majority of respondents agreed with the extent of using multimedia tools for learning, such as video, audio, computer, podcasts, and Google forms are actively used by mass communication undergraduate students at university of Delta Agbor to enhance their learning and significantly improve interaction, engagement, understanding of course materials. Challenges indicated include, unstable electricity supply, poor Internet connectivity, inadequate training in multimedia usage, limited access to multimedia devices, high cost of Internet data, and technical issues affect the effective use of multimedia tools in learning. The study recommended that undergraduate students should diversify the use of multimedia tools by exploring underutilised tools such as Google Forms and podcasts to enhance learning, students should seek training and guidance on effective use of multimedia tools rather than relying solely on self-practice, that lecturers should incorporate multimedia tools in teaching to enhance interaction, understanding, and self-paced learning among others.
