Sustainable fisheries and aquaculture are essential for ensuring food security while conserving marine biodiversity, especially in regions dependent on aquatic resources. This paper explores innovative approaches that integrate ecological conservation with enhanced fish production, focusing on practices such as Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture, community-based fisheries management, and incorporation of digital monitoring technologies. The study highlights how these innovations contribute to resilient, equitable, and sustainable ocean economies. It further examines existing governance frameworks and identifies setbacks that hinder the scalability of such approaches. The study adopts a methodology based on qualitative analysis of scholarly literature across the above identified innovative sustainable marine fisheries and aquaculture practices. It evaluates the potential of innovative advancements such as affordable recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), Artificial Intelligence of things and integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA), and community-based fisheries management. The study finds that innovations in fisheries and aquaculture hold significant promise in enhancing productivity and reducing environmental impacts. The paper concludes that achieving long-term sustainability in fisheries and aquaculture requires coordinated efforts combining technological innovation, community-based management, and supportive policy reforms to balance food security needs with marine ecosystem health.   Key Words: Blue economy, sustainable fisheries, aquaculture innovations, recirculating aquaculture systems, integrated multi-trophic aquaculture, community-based management
