The digitization of basic education in developing economies requires structural frameworks that guarantee infrastructural longevity. This study investigated the relationship between the management of content development studios and smart school sustainability in South-South Nigeria. Grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory, the study conceptualizes studio management through three dimensions: studio infrastructure maintenance, digital content quality control, and technical staff capacity building. A descriptive survey design was adopted, utilizing a census sampling approach that targeted the entire population of principals, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) coordinators, and studio managers (N = 108) across pilot smart schools in the region. Data collection was executed using a structured 5-point Likert scale instrument titled "Management of Content Studios and Smart School Sustainability Questionnaire" (MCSSSSQ). Research questions are analyzed using Mean {x̄} and Standard Deviation (SD) against a criterion threshold of 2.50, while only one hypothesis was ested using and Multiple Linear Regression at 0.05 level of significance. Anticipated findings suggest that while initial infrastructural investments are high, a lack of institutionalized maintenance frameworks and an ongoing shortage of continuous technical capacity-building programme significantly undermine institutional sustainability. Conversely, rigorous quality control measures positively predict digital resource adaptability. The study implies that physical digital infrastructure lacks intrinsic utility unless supported by sustained administrative capabilities. It recommends that the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) establish independent financial pathways for localized maintenance and regular technical up-skilling of studio personnel.
