Mobile App for Ghana Railway Limited using QR-Code

Technological development has resulted in a boundary-free digital world. This development has resulted in a transaction through virtual money instead of real ones. In Ghana, Individuals who use the railway find it difficult with the manual process and the government to trace the revenue generated. This system deals with developing and implementing a smartphone application that is more effective and simple than the current manual process. The ticket will be present in the Passenger's phone in the form of a "Quick Response Code." Payment can be made through the User's account, i.e., if the User agrees to buy the ticket, then the equivalent 'amount' of the ticket will be deducted from the User's account. After Payment, the ticket is generated on the server-side, saved in the database, sent back to the User's mobile, and saved in the smartphone’s memory. The information for each User is stored in a CLOUD database for security purposes.
