General Description & Scope
This dataset contains the primary on-farm empirical data, water quality parameters, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission modeling outputs collected over a full production cycle (120–140 days) from 30 small-scale aquaculture pond holdings in the Sunyani Municipality, Bono Region, Ghana.
The data supports the comparative evaluation of two distinct aquaculture treatments:
African Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) Monoculture (n = 15 independent pond units)
Catfish–Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Polyculture (n = 15 independent pond unit
2. Dataset Structure & File Inventory
The dataset is bundled into open-source formats to ensure maximum accessibility and interoperability. It comprises an excel workbook with separate worksheets as follows;
i. Complete farm-level production performance metrics and aggregated carbon accounting outputs for all 30 independent experimental units.
ii. Unpooled, time-series environmental parameters monitored biweekly at three distinct spatial sampling locations per pond over the culture cycle.
iii. Contains the underlying probability distribution matrices and raw data tables utilized for the 10,000-iteration Monte Carlo uncertainty analysis and ebullition factor sensitivity modeling.
