Moroccan colloquialism is a repository of the classical Arabic dictionary: the sound name as an example

تعدّ العامية خزانا حيويا للغة ومفرداتها وأصواتها ودلالاتها وحصنا لحمولتها الثقافية والحضارية؛ لذلك فموت لغة ما أو اندثار بعض مفرداتها ينذر بتآكل المعرفة الإنسانية ورموزها الثقافية. ولعل إحدى أوجه استمرارية اللغات ومعجمها أن تظل حية مستعملة متطورة، أو مدونة بين دفتي الكتب شعرا ونثرا، أو متفرقة بين اللهجات واللغات... إن العامية المغربية هي إحدى مظاهر الحفاظ على العربية الفصحى وتشفير معارفها الفلسفية والأدبية والزراعية والفلكية والبيئية والاجتماعية... فهي ذاكرة شفوية حية للفصحى، وكنز ثمين من المفردات ومستودع واسع لكثير من الاستعمالات التي طمست واختفت من المعجم المعاصر. في هذه الورقة، ولتمحيص فرضية أن العامية المغربية مستودع للغة العربية الفصحى وثقافتها، وبُغية الإجابة على إشكالية: إلى إي حد تحافظ العامية المغربية على المعجم العربي الفصيح وحمولته الدلالية والحضارية؟ سنقدم حصيلة دراسة أجريناها تقتفي آثار أسماء أصوات فصيحة حافظ عليها الاستعمال اليومي التداولي للعامية المغربية حسبناها ألفاظا عامية مبتذلة؛ وهي في حقيقتها ألفاظ ذات حمولة ثقافية عربية غزيرة، تُغيّر رؤية الفرد للعالم وإدراكه له، وتبين مدى ارتباط الإنسان العربي ببيئته ومجاله. كما يمكن أن تكون هذه المفردات مدخلا مساعدا على تعليم اللغة العربية الفصحى وتعلمها؛ بالاستناد إلى إطار نظري يُستوحى من ظواهر النقل والتداخل اللغويين واتصال اللغات، ويستثمر النقل الإيجابي، لا السلبي، للقدرات اللغوية المترسخة لدى متعلم اللغة العربية الفصحى، كي لا تضيع المكتسبات اللغوية الفطرية لدى المتعلم والتي حصّلها في باكورة عمره، وهي أهم مرحلة في الاكتساب اللغوي. كلمات مفاتيح: الفصحى، العامية، المعجم، اسم الصوت. Dialect is a vital repertoire of language and its components, i.e., vocabulary, phonology, and meaning, etc. It is equally a repertoire of cultural and civilizational aspects. Hence, the death of a language or the disappearance of its words impacts human knowledge and cultural symbols. The continuity of a language hinges on its liveliness, usage, and development; it also depends on having it written down in prose and poetry books and on its scatteredness in dialects and other languages. Moroccan dialect is a valuable resource for preserving standard Arabic, functioning as a means for codifying its associated philosophical, literary, agricultural, ecological, and social knowledge. More to the point, it is taken to be a vivid oral memory of Standard Arabic, a precious treasure of vocabulary, and a large repository for a big number of uses that disappeared from the modern lexicon. In order to substantiate my assumption that Moroccan Arabic is a repertoire and a protector of standard Arabic, I will account for the names of sounds in this latter. Such names are vernacular cliches with cultural Arabic richness preserved by Moroccan dialect daily usage; they change one’s world outlook and perception. Besides, they reveal how Arabs are related to their environment and space. Such words may also serve as a scaffold for teaching and learning standard Arabic. Drawing on a framework composed of inter-linguistic transfer, interference, and contact concepts, the study focuses on the positive transfer of linguistic potentials entrenched in the minds of Arabic language learners, namely a transfer that preserves the linguistic abilities acquired during early childhood, which is the most important stage in language acquisition process.
