Elicitation session with Sammy: run walk crawl climb, causality, subordinate clauses, transcribing market directions. Partly transcribed by Saskia. Saskia and Rebecca first showed Sammy the causality videos and asked him to describe what the people in the clips did. The causality videos show events with different causes. Then, Saskia and Rebecca showed Sammy the 'run walk crawl climb' videos and asked him to describe what the people and animals in the videos did. The 'run walk crawl climb' videos show people and animals moving in different manners. After this, Saskia transcribed the directions to the market with Sammy, which were recorded in an earlier session. Rebecca then asked Sammy to translate some English sentences with subordinate clauses into Avatime.Instructions were given in English, there is also some discussion in English.
