These are the main results of the ANR-NaijaSynCor programme (ANR-16-CE27-0007, 2017-2021), a corpus-based study of the nature and functions of Naija (Common Nigerian Pidgin) in Nigeria today. Coordinated by Bernard Caron, it brings together Llacan (UMR 8135, Inalco-EPHE-CNRS), Modyco (UMR 7114, Université Paris-Nanterre, CNRS) and the University of Ibadan (Department of Linguistics)
