Nexus (1967-1968), which became later became Busara (1968-1976), was a periodical edited by the Department of Literature at the University of Nairobi, and published by the East African Literature Bureau. The dataset was compiled from various archives (University of Dar es Salaam library, University of Nairobi Library, McGill Library, Bibliothèque Nationale de France). The set lists the papers published in the pages of each issue, along with bio-bibliographical information about their authors, as found within the pages of the magazines. The label "type of text" is based on my reading of the texts.
