The Nigerian Medical Journal (NMJ), which was first published in 1964, is a bimonthly multidisciplinary medical journal published by the Nigerian Medical Association. Publication scope: The Nigerian Medical journal publishes scientific reports that seek to advance medical and health science in all areas. The manuscripts submitted to the Nigerian Medical Journal may be in the form of Systematic or Narrative Review articles, Original research articles, case series and reports, Letters to the Editor, Short commentaries, Continuing Medical Education articles and practice materials and Book reviews. Abstracting and Indexing Information: The Nigerian Medical journal is registered with the following abstracting partners: African Journals Online (AJOL), Baidu Scholar, CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), EBSCO Publishing's Electronic Databases, Ex Libris – Primo Central, Google Scholar, HINARI, Infotrieve, National Science Library, ProQuest, TDNet, Wanfang Data. The journal is indexed with or included in African Index Medicus, PubMed Central and Medline.
