Kolade M. Owolabi is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics. He is an author and co-author of several research papers, an editorial board member, and a regular reviewer of some scientific journals. His research is focused on numerical methods and scientific computing for the applied problems that arise from interactions between natural and life sciences as well as engineering. His research is a well-balanced combination of analytical investigations and numerical experiments using finite difference technique, spectral method, and exponential time differencing schemes. His current research involves the development of reliable and efficient numerical methods for solving mathematical models arising in population biology. Other research interest includes methods and application of nonlinear equations, fractional calculus and their applications to real-world phenomena, and Numerical methods for partial and ordinary differential equations.
