This study provides a comprehensive scientific analysis of edible grasshoppers from Niger as a sustainable and nutrient-dense resource for food security and nutraceutical development. Using a multi-omics approach—including biochemical profiling, metabolomics, proteomics, and lipidomics—the research characterizes the nutritional composition and bioactive potential of grasshopper-derived ingredients. In addition, an artificial intelligence (AI) modeling framework is introduced to optimize dietary formulations, predict nutrient requirements across populations, and design personalized nutrition strategies. The integration of Nutri-Phytomics Intelligence (NPI) allows for advanced data-driven insights that bridge traditional nutrition, modern omics science, and intelligent computational technology.
The dataset, figures, and methodological framework support the development of high-value nutraceutical products and contribute to ongoing research on sustainable protein sources, precision nutrition, and AI-assisted food innovation in Africa.
