The field work is a study of Opobo tribe which was divided into 67 war canoes houses, and how people migrated from Bonny and other places to add up the number of war canoes houses. The part played by King Jaja in the establishment of the Opobo town in 1869 and the selection of main head of house which is reviewed every three years .
