The new trend in librarianship necessitates organizational culture inclusion in the library. Organizational culture is relevant to e-learning system acceptance. It includes the principles, ideologies, as well as policies followed in an organization. Technology revolution is gradually transforming the traditional class room. E-learning system acceptance is the willingness to actually use educational course content remotely. E-Learning system helps to speed up learning, reduces cost of educational materials, maximizes knowledge retention, increases productivity, interactivity and provides confidence. In spite of E-learning system advantages, universities are facing problems of low E-learning system acceptance among academic staff. Empirical studies have shown that the level of acceptance of E-learning system in Nigeria public university is low. This may be as a result of the conventional methods of teaching and assessments which are practiced in Nigerian universities while Elearning is yet to be fully implemented or has been implemented haphazardly. Hence this research examined the level at which organizational culture, influenced E-learning system acceptance among academic librarians in public university with specific focus in South West Nigeria. The study used survey research design. The total number of respondents were 214. The study used total enumeration. The findings indicated a high extent level of e-learning system acceptance among academic librarians in selected public universities in South-West, Nigeria. In conclusion the level of organization culture prevalent towards e-learning system acceptance among librarians was high. The findings recommended provision of adequate infrastructure needed for effective elearning system acceptance by the University management.
