Portrait The material consists of approximately 900 sound files illustrating lexis, phrases and example sentences for this Khoekhoe language of the early Cape; plus a small selection of still photographs. The audio material is annotated in an accompanying spreadsheet, where the sound files are linked to the entries. Each individual sound file has a unique number, and this will eventually be entered into ELAN-transcripts of the full-length elicitation sessions, at the exact place of its occurrence.
