Because he was jailed by the Chief of Mwomo for burning the grass in Mwomo plains and dividing it among the people who wanted to cultivate including non-Shilluks. He was detained for a long time. And when the King went to Mwomo in a visit, Amon presented his case in this song, accusing the chief of taking the authority of the King. The composer sees that the chief is not better than him; he is a frog like him. Moreover, the chief should not prevent people from cultivating dura. And he ended the song by calling for peace and harmony. The King released the composer after hearing his case.
