The dataset comprises all primary and derived data generated during the analysis of oxalate content in selected indigenous leafy vegetables from the Eastern Region of Ghana. The data support both the quantitative findings and the method comparison presented in this study.1. Raw Analytical DataThis includes:Spectrophotometric data: Triplicate absorbance measurements for each sample, calibration curve data (standard concentrations vs absorbance), and calculated oxalate concentrations.Titrimetric data: Triplicate titre values (mL) for each sample, average titre values, and corresponding oxalate concentrations calculated using the equivalence factor (1 mL of 0.1 M KMnO₄ = 2.2 mg oxalate).Each sample is identified by:Vegetable type (waterleaf, bitter leaf, cocoyam leaves, jute leaves)Treatment (fresh or heat-treated)Geographical block (Block A: highland; Block B: lowland)2. Processed DatasetThis dataset contains:Final oxalate concentrations (mg/100 g) for both analytical methodsMean ± standard deviation (n = 3) for each sample groupStructured dataset used for statistical analysis (RCBD ANOVA)Variables include:Group (e.g., WFH, BFL, etc.)VegetableTreatmentBlockSpectrophotometric (mg/100 g)Titrimetric (mg/100 g)3.
