The slides materials are the part 1 for completion of two Open Science leadership/community engagement programs in my home Department at the University of Yaounde 1, Cameroon, Central  Africa (certified Open Science Instructor following an Open Science Instructor training by LMU Open Science Center's Summer School in Germany and 18-month training of eLife Community Ambassador). The content is about the rationales for Open Science (Reproducibility Crisis, Retraction of papers, DORA responsible Research Assessment) and definition or expalantion of Open Science concepts including Open Research (Preregistration & Registered report, Open methods, Open Material, Open Data with Data Management Plan & FAIR principles, Preprint, Open peer review, Open Access), Open infrastructures (Open repositories, Preprints peer review platforms, Open Licences, Persitent identifiers types) and Open Science Intiatives in Africa such as African Reproducibility Network (AREN), Open research Africa.
