This study examines the associations between perceptions of globalization, global orientations (Chen et al., 2016), and mental health outcomes (stress and flourishing) in majority-group samples from South Africa and the United States, using multi-group mediation modeling in Mplus. The United States is conceptualized as a dominant “exporter” in globalization processes, while South Africa is positioned more as a “recipient/importer.”
