Abstract
Ngala Private Game Reserve is a safari lodge owned by the World Wide Fund for Nature – South Africa (WWF-SA) within the Kempiana Contractual National Park in South Africa. andBeyond has a 20-year lease to operate a safari lodge and tented camp, and traverse the reserve. The lodge generates benefits for local people through employment and by channelling donations through the Africa Foundation into community health, education and small business development initiatives. The lodge monitors its environmental impacts through bi-annual audits that are submitted to the Department of Environmental Affairs.
