Poll Worker Identity and Trust in Elections: The Case of Nigeria’s National Youth Service

This project examines the effects of poll worker identity on election trust in Nigeria. It considers whether poll workers from the National Youth Service are considered more impartial and competent than local community members, as well as whether voters prefer poll workers who share their ethnicity, religion, and state of origin. This study uses both a conjoint and a vignette experiment.
