'Probe' is a South African science fiction fanzine attached to the Science Fiction & Fantasy South Africa (SFFSA) club. The club was established in 1969 and is based in Johannesburg. 'Probe' has been in print since the club's establishment and is, to date, published three to four times a year. This dataset is a collection of the short stories listed in the fanzine in a decade of booming African speculative writing: 2008 - 2018. The data is listed in chronological order.   This data set was collected from print copies housed at an individual’s private archive in Johannesburg, South Africa.
