Projecto de Centro Interpretativo da Cultura Kwanyama (Cuanhama)

Resumo

A presente dissertação, intitulada: Centro Interpretativo da Cultura Kwanyama, surgiu como parte de um projeto de investigação conduzido pelo CEUAP. Esta linha de investigação desenvolveu-se também em resposta face a algumas necessidades e intenções locais Para que tal fosse possível, recorreu-se ao estudo da região geográfica do sul de Angola, cuanhama, da sua morfologia, demografia, história e património cultural. Numa primeira fase investigou-se a região como elemento geográfico, clima, fauna e flora. Posteriormente foi estudado os kwanyamas, o seu eumbo, as suas atividades e organização social, a razia, e os seus contatos com a potência colonizadora. E por fim, concretizou-se a nossa proposta de mediação, um planeamento de um Centro Interpretativo para a Sociedade Kwanyama, onde será empregue todo o conhecimento adquirido ao longo da investigação. Este será encarado como um polo dinamizador da região e da história local.

Abstract  

The present dissertation, entitled: Interpreter Centre of the Kwanyama Culture, developed as part of a scientific investigation lead by CEAUP. This line of investigation was developed also in response to some needs and locals intentions. For that to became a reality, a serious study of the geographic region of the south of Angola, the cuanhama, its morphology, demographics, history and cultural heritage, was conducted. To complement this study, another one was conducted, it focused on the kwanyamas, the eumbo, and its social activities and hierarchy, the razia, and their contact with the colonization powerhouse. With this study, we wre able to make a mediation proposal,
an Interpreter Centre for the Kwanyama Society, were all of the knowledge gathered in the study, will put to use. Thus this centre will be a dynamic centre for the region and for its history.

Résumé 
La présente thése s´intitule: Centre d'Interprétation de la Culture Kwanyama. Cette recherche émerge d'un projet d´investigation menée par CEUAP. Le projet a étè également développé a partir des besoins et intentions locales. La zone géographique du sud d´Angola est le domaine de l´étude: Cuanhama, leur morphologie, démographie, histoire et patrimoine culturel. Dans une première étape, la région a étè étudiée comme un element geographique, climatique, faune et la flore. Postérieurement, les kwanyamas on étè l´objet de la recherche, son eumbo, leurs activités et leurs organisation sociale, le raid, et leurs contacts avec le pouvoir colonial. Finalment, la proposition de la médiation ce réalise: la planification d'un centre d'interprétatif pour la sociéte Kwanyama se produit, où toutes les connaissances acquises de l'enquête seront appliquées. Ce centre peut être considérer comme un pôle dynamique de la région et de l'histoire locale.
