PyPSA-Earth Weather Databundle of Africa
Input Data for the PyPSA-Earth Model for modelling the energy system of any region on Earth
Description
This record provides the PyPSA-Earth Weather Databundle for Africa a curated collection of weather inputs required to run the full-scale workflow of the PyPSA-Earth energy system model for specific weather years and any country in the region.
The repository contents is intended to be placed inside the PyPSA-Earth working folder, in the cutouts subfolder, which contains the weather information.
The currently supported weather years are:
2013
PyPSA-Earth is an open-source, sector-coupled global energy system modelling framework built on PyPSA and developed within the PyPSA meets Earth initiative.
