This paper explores the application of quantum computing to optimize crop selection and resource allocation for small-to-large-scale farmers on the South Coast of Durban, KZN, South Africa. By leveraging quantum algorithms, the study demonstrates how quantum computing can provide actionable insights into crop combinations that maximize yield and profitability under constrained conditions. The methodology involves designing a quantum circuit to model crop combinations, applying constraints such as resource limitations, and analyzing the results using Qiskit. The findings highlight the potential of quantum computing as a transformative tool for sustainable agriculture. This work bridges the gap between quantum technology and real-world agricultural challenges, offering a novel approach to improving food security and economic outcomes.
